Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
i watched a tv show last night was on food channel

here in us was about a place in arizona a life tree is what they

called them selves was a natural food rehab place that said they could

cure diabetes it followed one lady thru the program it was very interest-

ing but seemed alot of c**p to me

has anyone ever heard of places like these

thanks

I have a friend in America was telling me about this place.

As far as I'm aware there is no cure for diabetes, but as long as we do all the right things it can be controlled.

I guess it depends what you think a cure is. There are certainly cases where people with type 2 lose sufficient weight that there body can cope with carbs without meds or even strict diet for long periods of time, but thats not a cure - more a remission. In that whatever has started the process of turning you diabetic as started and the symptoms are likely to return if weight increases or you need meds that increase blood glucose.

Sadly, there are many people who will claim they can cure all sorts of incurable conditions which sufferers are desparate to be free from.

It normally involves large sums of money either paid directly or indirectly through publicity, etc.

It is never nice to give someone false hopes. It maybe done, in this case, with naive good intentions but far better to show them how to manage it rather than to make wild claims.

All in my personal opinion, of course.
