A domestic violence victim who was viciously beaten by her ex-boyfriend has been refused NHS funding for surgery to repair her battered nose.
Mother-of-one Rebecca Beattie, 25, suffered horrendous injuries at the hands of Bradley Scot Want, 24, at their home in April last year.
He was jailed for 16 months last September after leaving Ms Beattie virtually unable to breathe.
The injuries to her nose included a grossly deviated septum, splayed nasal bones and fractures.
