Live bands thrilled at Rock Diabetes in Westbury?s White Horse Country Park last Saturday, raising ?3,600 for the Juvenile Diabetes Rese-arch Foundation.

Bradford on Avon?s Scython, in their first gig, kicked things off, followed by the Peruvian Fighting Sheep from Bristol Rock Guitar music school.

Then came Rock Dog, Control the Storm, the Full Motley, Leander Morales and Andy Hill and Natural Tendency, before headliners Hot Flex delivered an array of heavy metal covers.

Organiser Donna-Michelle Donkin, whose daughter Cerys-Anne was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two years ago, said her family could not have hoped for more success.
