The wife of a man who survived emergency brain surgery has been fighting a two-year battle with NHS chiefs to bring him home.
Father-of-four Brian Taylor, 69, has been in a care home in Salford since August 2011 after he underwent treatment for a life-threatening brain aneurysm.
His wife, Anne, 67, a retired auxiliary nurse, has been fighting for permission to care for him at home with NHS support. She says she was even given a ?28,000 council grant so that their house in Winton, Salford, could be adapted.
