Hello. My husband was diagnosed last week with type 2, after many symptoms including weight loss, thirst, headaches, blurred vision. We are struggling big time on what he can and can't eat. Don't know how we should be reading the "typical values" on the packaging of foods. Other than the traffic light system we're unsure.
We love food and cooking, and now don't know what to cook. Have tried a couple of recipes on here, with success.
His blood sugars are reading between 15 and 19 , which is high, but not as high as diagnosis, as it was 30 +++ then.
Any advice much appreciated. Starting with the basics.
