WE’RE in the age of the selfie – but now it’s not just about trying to snap a pic of yourself with a celeb or showing your friends where you are.
The no make-up selfie campaign showed how quickly charities can benefit from the power of social media when Cancer Research UK raised £8million in just six days from the initiative.
Now Diabetes UK have teamed up with WeightWatchers UK to encourage people to take a healthy selfie to raise funds for the charity.
Scots have been quick to join in the campaign – posting pictures of themselves in gyms and out for walks raising cash for Diabetes UK.
