Why is my spike not coming down!

Last night I spiked at 10.5 not usual for me and it was a meal id had before. I'm usually between 4.5- 6.5 on average. This morning at 9am. I was still 7.5 at midday only down to 7. Had a small lunch some cheese and nuts and it's now 7.1.
Not sure what's going on, why it's not going down. Feel tired too.

You may be sickening for something as that could increase blood glucose, have you been drinking enough.
