Last time I went to pump and consultant clinic my printer had broken. I usually take print outs for the last 6 months. I felt aweful and thought they would think I was trying to hide things. Well my next clinic and consultant is on tuesday. Today my insight meter decided it would not work, I have been on the phone to accu chek and a lovely lady, called Natalie, tried to get it sorted out but it turns out that she thinks it is the battery. She is sending a new battey out to me on special delivery before 10am on Tuesday, my appointment is at 11.30. I might be abe to charge it up in the car on the way to clinic. Why oh why are these things sent to try us at such important times. I am woried sick about the appointment now. I can almost hear them saying, mmm she didn't have all printouts last time and this time she says her meter is broken mmm very strange.

Why (the hell) do YOU have to provide them with p/os? Why (the hell) can't they get the damn software from Roche and do it, if they need it so much? (as my clinic always have done)

I always take my laptop with me because I hate printouts.

Try to relax @spiritfree - I often printouts to clinic (but it’s not uncommon for them to be barely looked at) more recently they have always wanted to download the pump themselves.

Do you have questions you can ask without the printouts?

I suppose the benefit of only getting the meter just before is that they can help you link it to your pump 🙂

At our clinic they download pump, handset and Libre themselves. If one wasn't working I guess we'd have to do without it if they weren't t able to help us get it going again.

Thank you for your replies. Trophywench, they don't ask me to take readouts with me. It is something I have always done, after going on pump. Mike I have a list with things to ask.
