I've just wasted another weekend lying around too exhausted and achy to do anything much. I went out for a couple of walks and that was it, couldn't be bothered doing anything else. I'm so tired all the time and back to not sleeping very well, which is odd in a way because everything seems to be going quite well both work wise and Big D wise, my numbers have been pretty good lately. I have no clue what's going on with me, but have a telephone appointment with the doctor this morning. Maybe she can come up with something.

Aw Alison,

Sorry to hear this but perhaps you just use up so much energy during the week keeping on top of evrything, you just dont have any left at the weekend!

I do hope that your GP can help,

Take care,

Hi Alison I hope that your GP has an answer. When I was constantly tired there was nothing shown on the blood tests. I spent weekends exhausted. The only way that I could have any quality of life was reducing to a 50% contract at work....although for me thongs are more complicated because of the side effects of all my medications and the gastroparesis. I hope that you can find a solution that is good for you.

Hi Alison hope u feel better soon... I was diagnosed with anaemia at same time as diabetes, 2.5 weeks on with a few days now on iron tablets and I feel a whole new woman....hope ur doc gets to bottom of it xx

That's a good point Lillies, my RBC is running a bit low at the moment, according to the latest tests. I've had anaemia for years, but try to avoid iron pills because of the plumbing problems they cause, I may have to give in though.

It sounds like a case of "collapsing" only when you can ie not at work. Hope your GP can be a bit more informative and you can find an acceptable solution between you.

I hope you get something sorted and your doctor can help. It is awfull feeling so worn out and not getting any quality free time.
