We substitute the high carbs
We’re checking all we eat
We lower sugar levels
And try to feel complete
Let’s challenge our diabetes
It’s a contest every day
We’re in the yes and no game
And daily we will play
Weigh up all the options
On that diabetic duty call
We really can’t ignore it
We must be on it, one and all
Know what makes you better
Feel proud for all you do
It’s your life, so please enjoy it
