A WHITSTABLE mum said she has been overwhelmed after kindhearted businesses across the Canterbury district donated £1,500 worth of prizes for a raffle she is organising.
Nicola Hobson is on a mission to raise as much money as she can for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
It is a cause close to her heart as her youngest daughter, five-year old Natasha, was just one day away from a coma when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
Mrs Hobson, 34, said: "She has had it since just before her third birthday – up until then she had been a healthy little girl, but then she started wetting the bed a lot.
