I've been monitoring my BG now since 1 Feb 2023 using the GlucoNavii reader. I'm focusing on immediately before meals and 2hrs after (not so bothered about waking levels or those at bedtime) as I'm looking to see what spikes my glucose so that it can be removed from my diet. I've taken about 110 readings so far. Interestingly I've found that all but 2 of my pre-meal readings so far are in the T2 range (between 4 and 7) and all but 2 of my post-meal readings are in the normal, non-diabetic-at-all range (under 7.8).
While the postprandial readings are obviously fab, I don't quite understand why my pre-meal readings aren't also in the normal range. And which is the reading that's the most important - pre or post?
