Very specific question. My friend wants to try the Libre as she knows I rate it well.
She doesn’t want to order from Abbott because they don’t use a next day delivery service I believe?
She works shifts so she was hoping to find somewhere online that offers DPD delivery as they tend to be specific with delivery slots. Anyone recommend anywhere?

She would be unwise to order from anywhere other than Abbott directly because if she has a problem with it she will be unlikely to get support from Abbott (not being their customer) and we all know that Libre has rather too frequent fails either with the adhesive or the electronics to take that risk. Can she not get it delivered to a third party who she knows will be in to take the delivery. Most of us find Abbott dispatch them pretty promptly. Alternatively she might be able to purchase from a pharmacy over the counter but may be more expensive and not sure where she would stand for customer support if she isn't an Abbott customer. You may have covered this with her but having a compatible phone will be important unless she is going to get a starter pack with a reader.

Has the free Libre 2 trial ended?

Yeah you make an excellent point there actually. I totally forgot about the support of anything goes wrong.
I didn’t know there was a free trial. I’ll oook into that for her.

I believe Dexcom were also doing a free trial, so she might want to check that out too.

I'm using a free trial Libre 2 that I was sent from abbott last week so the free trial should still be going. I think it was on a 48 hour delivery but was 'On Hold' at Abbott for a couple of days before despatch. Their website gives you a status.

Managed to help get her one sorted, yes.
