Where is everyone? It's like a ghost town!:(Bev

Ghost Town

Lol i thought that too Bev, been checking all day and no posts

Never known it so quiet! Perhaps they've all found the cure and aren't telling us...!😉

I've been on the train all day, and the broadband signal on Vodafone was terrible.

Thats my excuse boss!

Well, it's the weekend, and many people have easier web access at work than home. Personally, I've been gardening and managing ducks in the morning, visiting Science Festival and kayaking in the sunshine this afternoon. It's OK for the messageboards to be quiet sometimes!

Euggh. Even at the weekends I'm in school. This week is a seven day school week as far as school goes. Bloody chapel tomorrow evening. Been watching the good old Six Nations today and anticipating doing the same tomorrow. Oh bugger, I forgot that I had a tonne of work to do. Grrrrr.

Hi Tom,

What sort of school do you go to? Seems a lot of work doing 7 days a week? Bev (dont say the name of your school)

I'm lucky and I go to a private school here in Eastbourne. I'm in my final year :D Only about three more months to go.

Hi Tom,
You'll no doubt be swotting for your exams then? Good luck with them! :DBev

Yeah, did that over Christmas and got the results from the January modules on Thursday. I didn't do too badly. This Easter will be spent doing much the same as I have modules in June. I've got my last university interview coming up on the 19th of this month. I just have to able to nail these last exams in June and that's me sorted and hopefully with the right grades to study for a BSc in Applied Biomedical Science...

Been away for a week. No signal up in the mountains. Did go to a nearby library where internet was free and just cheked my main pc remotely. Hastened back to warm house and left message boards alone for the rest of the week.

Like your location Tom. We used to say "Folkstone for the Continent, Easbourne for the incontinent."

hope you had a nice time John.

I don't really come on at the weekends or later in the evening as I try to spend time with my partner.

Wonderful break thanks Nikki.
Did some serious "sinning" foodwise - put on about 5lb. Watched the carbs and bs fairly steady.
Already lost 1.5lb since Saturday.

Just booked a scenic train journey for Tuesday. Scotrail do a deal called Club 55 and with a senior railcard I can travel between any two stations in Scotland (and Carlisle) for ?13 return.
