What sort of drink? Generally, the advice is 2 hours after eating or drinking. If you mean alcohol, it's worth checking before going to sleep, as alcohol can reduce blood glucose levels. Some drinks eg beer, sweet wines, sweet ciders, mixers containing sugar, some cocktails etc contain considerable amounts of carbohydrate, while spirits (with no mixers of sugar free mixers), dry wines etc have much less carbohydrate.
