So doing a new cannula as my bloods are creeping up even tho I've corrected & my new cannula is tomorrow am.

I've just managed to fire the cannula into my left breast some how

My god the pain!!!!

Ouch!!! 😱

Watch where you point that thing.....

Ouch!!! 😱

I'd just pulled its legs back down & was checking my stomach, god knows how I knocked the safety off & fired it with one hand!

Aha - so you have a Roche pump - they're really vicious in just the wrong place, aren't they?

Did one in the middle of my palm once, OMG - and a bruise for nearly a fortnight!

Ouch!!!! I bet that hurt. No naughty words, I hope hahahaha. I hope where it went is ok. Keep a good eye on it.😱

Think ill have to put a cannula in my breast more often, it's not irritated as my usual cannula sites.

TW do you use flex links with your pump?

Made me wince just reading it 😱 Glad to hear it's not too irritated, though I'm guessing you didn't leave it in long.

Yup, Flexlinks Laura, the ones without the 'tail' attached.

The whanger has a mighty spring !

it looks bruised with a lovely big red dot in the middle, my gp has told me not to do it again (i wasnt even b****y trying to get it in there!!!) & keep an eye on it (i've asked you to check it out.......)

i agree TW, one of the girls at work asked how a cannula gets put in me. so i showed her (bless her she jumped & looked scared)

and for tonights cannula change i'm not going to aim it anywhere other than my tummy!!
