Thanks for posting, the list at the end is funny! Really true 🙂

It is interesting when a person has perspective from both sides of the fence 🙂 Don't US levels look horrendous when you see them in mg/dl? 😱 I was 666 mg/dl when diagnosed - the number of the beast! 🙄

My DSN's husband is T1. It's better than her being one really, because she never ever tries to tell you that you MUST do stuff.

Even when you are hypo and say No I really don't want a custard cream she'll say, Entirely up to you. But I think I would. In fact, I'd have two! She suggests things in a such a way that you want to do it ! She never criticises, usually eg Perhaps not the best plan. She's pragmatic - Let's sort it out. And after we have, she'll say Now - let's try and work out why that happened. What do you think?

I asked if hubby ever asked her for advice. She laughed and said You've got to be joking - I keep well out of THAT. Yes - I bet you do, Lynda! ROFLMAO (He must know - no man who's been married as long as they have can be as daft as that !)

She's defintely an ally I want to hang onto.

PS apparently years ago when they were both younger; she wasn't involved with diabetes and he had to take a pee sample to the hospital - he persuaded her to do the sample cos he knew his would be carp ...... LOL This came out when we ALL said on our carb-counting course, that we'd forged BG log book entries in the past. Tip - my consultant said they were taught to automatically suspect any log-book that wasn't speckled with dried blood !
