This forum is to discuss any news items in the media which specifically relate to diabetes, either directly because they are about diabetes, or because they are about a diabetes related condition, e.g., hypertension or PCOS (for related conditions please see: Diabetes related conditions | Basics of diabetes | Diabetes UK).

News items which indirectly relate to diabetes, for example, news articles about general health, the NHS or other long-term health conditions will be considered by the moderating team.
