Ok, this is a tmi, but tough 😛

I was sick after breakfast. Only a bit. My blood sugar (at one hour) after breakfast is normally on the border of high, sometimes it creeps over 8. Today, 4.9. I guess I lost more breakfast than I thought.

So, what to do now. I don't want to be hypo at work, cos that's no fun at all, but I don't want to go too high either.

Current plan is to wait an hour and test again and go from there. If it's low, I'lll send someone out for a bacon sandwich.

What would you do?
 
Sorry to hear that you were poorly! Hope you're feeling better now and not sickening for something. My BG is still rising 1 hour after eating breakfast, so 4.9 wouldn't appear unusual. I think you are correct - a test after 2 hours should give a better indication and you can decide whether to eat.

You do realise though, that you've now got everyone on the forum craving a bacon buttie!😱:D
 
I do still feel a bit bleurgh, but it was a combination of pregancy and over enthusiastic tooth brushing. I haven't been sick the whole pregnancy so far, so I'm counting myself lucky. My tummy doesn't feel happy though, and hubby was sick in the night, so I hope it isn't anything more...

Panic over; up to 5.3 now, so not dropping at least. No bacon buttie for me either then. Humph 🙄
