Hi All

I have my first appointment with a diabetic consultant tomorrow. I am presumed to have LADA and have been waiting for it to be made official since about June last year.

Can anyone let me know about what to expect during the appointment? Would any tests be done etc? Any questions that may be useful to ask? I am planning on asking about a hybrid loop as I am interested in having one if it is possible.
 
Hopefully the consultant will confirm your diagnosis @Confetti They might ask for blood tests (Type 1 antibodies and a C Peptide) to help them confirm your diagnosis if you haven’t had these done already. Then they’ll talk to you about your control and you’ll have a chance to ask questions or explain any difficulties you’re having. Do you have a Libre?
