What pen does everyone use for their basal insulin?

Thanks everyone - sorry I've been out. Looks like the Solostar is the only option for Lantus

Why do you think that most of you have been given disposable pens for the Lantus? I feel a bit like Copepod, not sure about throwing a whole pen away every time it's empty rather than just the cartridge - or perhaps the whole lot is made cheaper in some way. Plus the sheer size of carrying a spare pen rather than just the cartridge. Any thoughts?

The Autopen 24 is reusable There are 4 versions: 2 for levemir and two for lantus, in either 21 or 42 maximum dose units 🙂

I just put a note on my repeat prescription, although it took them three attempts to prescribe the one I'd asked for! 🙄 I got a spare from my DSN 🙂
