What numbers should I be aiming at?

It sounds to me as if some basal testing is in order
Personally I wouldn't have to close a relationship with the CGM as it's reading are 20 mins behind a finger stick and not always accurate. Very good for trends though.
My basal is remarkably good at the moment! I realise that about cgms, but I refuse to prick my fingers every 5/10 minutes to see what's going on.😱
Part of the problem, I think, is that most of my insulin (around 80%) comes bolus rather than basal - whereas I think most diabetics are roughly 50% of each. So any inaccuracies in bolus are magnified. It just seems to be the way I am.
The trouble with hba1c is that it is an average and doesn't show the peaks and troughs. My control has improved greatly over the last few weeks and will remain a work in progress.
