Can anyone tell me the best test kit for t2 finger prick I bought one from Amazon begins sinocare something like that but keep getting error or low result looked at the reviews and see lots of problems with all makes I have had a couple of reading the first time I used it pretty sure I’m doing it right anybody else having this problem .

If you are self funding your BG meter, the most important thing is the ongoing cost of the strips. Some popular options members here have found are the SD Gluco Navii, the Spirit Tee2, or the Contour Blue - which all have test strips at around £10 for 50. Some other brands can be 3x that much!

Some very cheap meters can be a little wayward with the results they offer, but these seem pretty reliable on the whole.

I use a Sinocare and I've been pretty chuffed with it.
Strips are an ongoing cost/annoyance if self funding but Mr Quill found that you can get 200 for £20 on the AliExpress app so that's been a bonus.
Was costing me £9.99 for 50 from Amazon!!!

If it is early days using the monitor then check your technique before dismissing it as some monitors can be quite picky about the amount of blood you apply to the strip which then gets sucked in by capillary action so too little or too much can throw up errors.
