I stopped taking my insulin? what would happen?

Im not thinking about doing so, im just curious

Im T2, 30 units Levemir daily( and still rising), Metformin

I wouldn't mind betting that your BG readings would be quite a bit higher than when you stared insulin. I got to 30 units 1 month after diagnosis, 2 yrs later I'm on 125 (split) but it's only numbers and we are all different. It doesn't pay to wonder if?.
Thanks for HONKing us Northerner, there was me just worrying about falling under a bus, and now I have to worry about Novo Nordisk refusing to supply the NHS (it's not true).
Did you see that BBC series (think it was called Survivor), where a plague had wiped out most of the population, I thought that would have made a great plot line if one of the survivors was diabetic!

Thanks Northerner.Yet again I learn more here that from docs.
My last nurse (the one who made me feel guilty) said I could NEVER go into a coma as I am T2!!!!

The article looks informative, thanks. I learn far more here than I do from Dr Twit who thinks he is the only person allowed to have i nformation!
