What do you miss the most

Haggis supper. (That's battered haggis and chips for the uninformed). Still just about doable with 16-18 u of insulin and 4 Creon, but it's not worth the hassle:(
I did love a haggis, black pudding or white pudding supper, just before DX I was thinking about trying a red pudding but never got round to it only thing I've had from the chippy since diagnosis is a single battered sausage poor show eh haha x

Oh another thing I miss is dipping bread in the frying pan while the bacons cooking, obviously still doable but how many carbs in a corner of bread haha x

I miss fried white bread and Black Forest Gateaux, not both at the same time though :D

Fresh grapefruit (because of tablets rather than D) but I treat myself on Christmas Day each year and leave out the statin the night before.

Also that that I know will cause spikes, so I save them for when I am doing big walks when the instant glucose is beneficial. So a Wurthers Original (yes I am old enough to be someone that enjoys those) whilst out walking is lovely.

If we're including things we miss unrelated to diabetes, for me it would be lemons, limes, oranges, satsumas, pineapple, raw apples, ginger, cinamon, and coffee - all things I really love & I can't have any of them any more because my ME has made me unable to tolerate them. I have lots more intolerances too, but those are the things I miss most.

Perhaps it's just as well that virtually nothing is a no-no for me diabetes-wise! :D
