Usually my BGGs are low in the evening so couldn't understand why my CGM was saying that my BGs were increasing at the fast rate and were now 18...double checked with the testing machine...then the penny dropped I'd completely sand utterly forgotten to do my 28 unit levemir injection at 5pm Surprised at the impact but the CM fortunately alerted me to the problem with the double arrows facing upwards to indicate a fast increase.......at least I now know why I've been feeling so queasy for the past hour. In the time it has taken me to write this B has now increased to 19😱

Oooops, thank goodness for your GCM🙂

So, if you haven't done this before, you can now join the "forgotten Levemir club"
Carol did it once, but she used to do the Levemir at 9pm, so she ended up feeling quite sick in the morning. I can't quite remember how high she was, but it was over 25 I'm sure.

I appreciate this is hardly a contest but day before yesterday I had a 'new site' issue so I was getting zilcho nuffink at all and in the 2 hours after my 20g CHO brekkie I'd shot up to 19.4 - blood in cannual so stuck it back on the old one which I'd forgotten to take out and it continued to go up, hit 27.5 !!!!

Utterly gobsmacking.

After 2 further set changes I became relatively human again and I was back down to mainly 5's and 6's the following day. Phew.

PS I know - I should have lobbed a cartridge in a pen ......

We all forget to do things sometimes. Great the moniter alreted you. I hope you are feeling better.
