I’m in polzeath right on the beach! It’s beautiful. I’d like to wish you all a happy new year and thank you for another year of support and friendship.

I planned to stay up and watch movies with A and J. We watched one and I was asleep by half 9

Night in, Chinese takeaway & copious amount of red wine to see new year in, thought fireworks in London were best ever, tribute to our late Queen was very touching.

Me too @gll but fortunately woke at 11:45 and managed to wedge my eyes open long enough to see the New Year in before taking myself off to bed Off to Bridlington tomorrow as we always do in the first couple of days into a New Year, where I can have a long walk on the beach and my partner and I will enjoy a "pensioner's special" at a fish and chip shop!
