Only T2s on the trial, but it does say they hope it could be used for all. Bit tricky to do double-blind tests with T1s!!

I suspect the problems of timing may be too great to make it worthwhile.

Hard to do that ethically, sure. It's surely a bit less important (that the tests be blinded) in that case, since we can just measure whether the pills are working or not. (I doubt they're rushing to try it for T1 in any case. The T2 market's much bigger and I imagine there's lots of T2 for whom delivery by pill (even if it doesn't have much precision) would have quite a bit of value, whereas for T1 you want precision.)

Yes, for T2s on a mixed insulin or just on a basal, probably OK.
Those of us T2s on MDI would probably want to stick with precision, same as T1s.
