I love desserts, and obviously cant have many that often.. but have stop my craving with skinny cow ice creams which are low in fat and are about 20 carbs, also weight watchers desserts are low in fat, and if match the carbs with my insulin my sugar levels are good.. anywhooo do you think they are okay to have coz there is sometimes high contents of sugar in them?

I've always worked on the basis of the total amount of carbs in the food i eat and at the same time, try to allow for the variations in sugar present. Some foods have quite low carbohydrate but a high percentage of the carb is sugar which in my experience means a short spike in sugar which will fall quite quickly later.
I don't know how long you've had D but being aware of this is usually enough to help keep your levels stable. We're all different.
The total number of carbs present is definitely the best gauge in my experience.🙂
