I've just got back from a trip to North West Scotland with my sister and I've arrived back lighter than when I went! We went to scatter our mum and dad's ashes in Mellon Udrigle which is where we used to go for holidays in the 60s and early 70s. Remarkably, it hasn't changed at all in 60 years. We had some laughter and some tears, but mostly we had lots of brocolli, curly kale and spring greens to accompany fish, omelettes and cheese.

So if you're looking at a carb free holiday, find yourself a veg-head like my sister to accompany you
