Just wondering if any other Type 1's out there can offer any advice on how they adjusted insulin as they lost weight?

I am going on holiday in July and joined Slimming World last night in a bid to shed these remaining lbs before we go away!

Is there some sort of calculation I can do based on say losing each half stone that insulin might need reduced by? Should it just be basal that needs tweaked and meal ratios stay roughly the same?? Or does it not work like that?!

I take 25u Levemir (15 day and 10 bedtime) and ratios of Humalog are 1:8, 1:10, 1:10.

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give! x

Basal would be my first suspect, and of course you know what I'm going to say next LOL (test your basal dose(s) )

It isn't an exact science, all you can do is play it by ear and don't worry about it till it happens - ie unexplained hypos on doses that have worked fine before.

All you can do, is look for patterns once you start getting the hypos, if you even do start getting them.
