Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
So I went to see her as re-scheduled. There wasn't much to say, she went over my last blood test results, which were good. Asked me how I felt, about my eye screening, feet checking, asked about my weight loss (told her that my COPD nurse weighed me last week), as on my record, she didn't have a lot to say that hadn't already been dealt with by other nurses or Dr and I brought her up to date with the blood test for heart failure etc in the past two weeks.... She DID say she wanted me to go on pills for cholesterol - the statins that Dr had mentioned last week but had been ruled out as I am not allowed on them due to reaction. She checked through my notes, and there it was, back in 2009! So that ended that conversation. Now she just wants to see me again in April as she is happy with how I am doing, quite surprised in some areas (weight and lower glucose in blood). So now I wait for them to contact me .... and they'd better not think to call me in on my birthday!!! rofl.
