I have just registered. I completed the login and saw the welcome message. However the message below that said that I had made an error and would only be allowed a total of 5 login attempts. If that is true why was I shown the welcome message after I completed the correct login details ? It is so exasperating !
 
Its hard to know what happened.

Sometimes when I login I mistype my password and get that message. If you then login with the correct password that 5 login attempts will be reset.

There has to be a limit on the number of login attempts to protect the integrity of the forum. If however, you forget your details you can use the contact option - which is at the top of the page on the right hand side.
