What a relief! After weeks of commuting in walking boots I could wear shoes again this morning. A few years ago I used to walk regularly but have not done so since braking my femur. I think I walk differently now as my previously comfortable walking boots are less so now. It felt as if I was in a pre-blister stage. They have found that my leg is now slightly shorter and that the foot turns out a little. Tempted to go to a specialist for a new pair of boots sometime. Has anybody had a similar experience?
