Hi Everyone,

My name is Molly Pike, and I’m currently beginning a research project for my Pre-Reg Masters in Physiotherapy at Manchester Metropolitan University.

This project has been approved by the Manchester Metropolitan University Research Ethics committee (Ethos ID: 74366) and is supervised by Dr Nicola Middlebrook (Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy).

The project will consist of conducting a semi-structured interview with participants who have had a lower limb amputation to gain an understanding of the individual’s perspectives of recovery and rehabilitation following lower limb amputation.

The interview is likely to take around 60 minutes, online via Microsoft Teams at a convenient date and time for any interested participants. I have attached a participant poster to explain the research in a more appealing way.

I would be most grateful if you could contact me via email [Molly.Pike@stu.mmu.ac.uk] if you are interested in joining this research project as a participant. I can then send across a participant information sheet and consent form.

Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Molly Pike
