Broadcaster Sir Michael Parkinson has warned a decision to restrict access on the NHS to a new drug to treat prostate cancer was ?illogical? as he backed a campaign for a fresh review.
The Yorkshireman, born in Cudworth, near Barnsley, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, called for a policy rethink.
Writing in The Sunday Times, he said: ?We must use our voices to campaign for more research funding, better diagnosis, better treatments and better education about men?s rights.
