AS CHRISTMAS parties fill the diary, people living with diabetes in the Humber region are being advised to keep themselves well over the festive period and winter months.
Although eating and drinking at Christmas is part of the fun, health bosses at NHS England, North Yorkshire and the Humber say there's no need for people with diabetes to miss out.
NHS England's medical director for this area, Dr Paul Twomey said: "People can help themselves to stay well and to stay out of hospital by preparing ahead of the cold weather.
