CAN I POST A RESEARCH SURVEY/QUESTIONNAIRE?

We’re an active and engaged community. Researchers or Students from academic or research institutes may post surveys, questionnaires or requests for patient participation on the Diabetes UK Online Support Forum.

All researchers must provide a letter of approval from their Ethics Committee within their institution before they are permitted to post. If you post without approval, your survey will be removed from public view until such evidence is provided.

They must follow the guidelines below:
  • Researchers/students may only post their survey/study once
  • May not spam their survey in different areas of the forum
  • May not private message users to participate in their study unless the user contacts them for more information/clarity
  • Can only respond to users in their created thread

Ethics Committee approval letters can be emailed to support.forum@diabetes.org.uk

CAN I POST MARKET RESEARCH, PRODUCT RESEARCH, MARKETING/COMMERCIAL, OR PROMOTIONAL SURVEYS/QUESTIONNAIRES?

We do not permit the posting of surveys or market research for any commercial products or services (either available or in development) on the forum. It is a Peer Support service which offers a safe, non-judgmental environment for people to share their experiences and find emotional support.
