Thanks jacfburcham, welcome to the forum 🙂 It's comprehensive, but perhaps a bit overcomplicated and US-based. I imagine there are some more straightforward apps available - Carbs and Cals springs to mind, have you seen that?
Hello, 3 weeks. I think it would be useful if the diabeties website included listings of all common fruits, so we could all see, I did a google search and this came up.
some people cannot get apps on microsoft phones most work on iphones only e.g the new sugar reading app being promoted by NHS.

I'm afraid I'm not very clued-up on apps etc. as I don't have a smartphone of any description 😱 I sometimes think that these people who promote these things as being a solution assume that everyone in the population must have one! 🙄
I do have the carbs and cals app (and also another one my consultant recommended - cook and count - which allows you to input recipes and it works out the carbs for you!)
But I use the book more frequently, it's very useful!
I have the Carbs & Cals book at home, but it's a little heavy to cart round with me so I also have the app on my phone.
I couldn't be without my moby. With my memory issues, it helps me remember when and how much of which meds to take, when and where I need to be on a given day (important for things like appointments), keeps track of my balance so I don't overspend, and holds my crochet pattern library, as well as my e-book library too. I'd be lost without it.
