Hi there I came across this forum after recently losing my dad to diabetes,my dad passed in may from ketoacidosis which should of been prevented if it wasn't due to the neglect from district nurses obviously I'm not going to get my dad back but would like to make a donation to diabetes uk in his memory, could someone advice me how to do this please x

You can donate by clicking on the red button marked Donate which is at the top of the screen.

Really sorry to hear about your dad. Ketoacidosis is one of the things we try to get people to understand can be a consequence of uncontrolled high blood glucose and I hope somebody has taken the district nurses to one side and educated them to make sure that it does not happen to anybody else in their care.
