Wallington student died after taking overdose of mum?s insulin

A teenage girl killed herself with her mother?s insulin days after splitting up with her boyfriend, an inquest heard.

Former Carshalton High School for Girls pupil Charlotte Wasey, 17, was found dead in her bedroom in Wallington by her mother Samantha Martin on June 26 last year.

The talented photographer was found in bed in Friar?s Court, Harcourt Road, just after 10pm, with a needle and six vials of her mother?s insulin, which had been stored in the household fridge, strewn around her.

She clearly had some huge emotional complications in her life. Very sad indeed.

I'm pleased they haven't made any more of the insulin availability other than it was in the fridge.

Hmmmmm - alarm bells jangling away in my head.

She'd done it before. Mention of care proceedings at that time. That's a tad drastic, or is it? Party drugs, that mother knows about. Hi Mom - tonight I've been taking Meow Meow - you gotta be joking?

If you had a child that did that, wouldn't you have a spearate fridge with a padlock or summat? -it's rare a diabetic needs insulin that quick you wouldn't be able to get to it in time.
