Supporters of The Norfolk Diabetes Trust will be pulling on their walking boots and shoes this weekend for a 62-mile trek along the coast.
The 12 hiking fundraisers hope to boost the charity?s coffers again in 2012, after last year?s walk around the entire Norfolk coastline raised an impressive ?12,000.
However this year, they are opting for a change of scenery and will be setting out from Felixstowe early this morning to walk along the Suffolk coast.
After an overnight stop in Aldeburgh, the walk will continue up the coast, ending with a reception at Potters at Hopton, in Norfolk.
Ed Masters, who has organised the walk with his friend James Hood, was inspired to get involved with The Norfolk Diabetes Trust after his 14-year-old son Jack was diagnosed with type one diabetes more than two years ago.
