I know I shouldn't worry but I am. There you go. Third Hba1c test since diagnosis, no real reason to be concerned. But know Diabetes is fickle. Mostly stopped the finger pricking only do it when I have new foods and it has always been ok (5.5-6.5). Last Hba1c was 40 and i do expect an increase as have been a little more carb heavy. So will now wait and see. I expect most people get a little concerned.

It can be a worry but remember you're the person living with Type 2 diabetes, and you are trying your best.

I always fret a bit but you'll be fine!

Thanks.

Don`t worry @Sharron1 just let us know the results.

Forgot to add, when I had the Hba1c test the nurse told me I had good veins to take blood in fact they were the best veins she had seen all day. Another addition for my CV.

Oh yes, I certainly will... note that although I like the idea I haven't engaged in guess the Hba1c result game.

Nobody's ever said anything nice about my veins :(

However, a dentist once told me I had a "perfect bite". It's made me feel secretly special ever since.

Mine just groans, as do I.

hopefully all will be fine, I think we are all the same, none of us what to see our numbers go up but we do what we can and I don’t think we can expect more than that. Good luck and let us know how it goes x

Hi @Sharron1 Its a tense moment waiting for that result! I had to go back after XMAS! imagine that, "No Dr i never ate ANY mince pies" 😛 LOL but whatever the outcome, you will get to grips with the situation with added vigor im sure. Good luck...and PS one specialist sticking a camera up my nose said what a lovely straight nose i had hahaha!

I hate the wait for the results. It sounds as though you’ve got a good grip on it at the moment though so you should be fine. Keep us posted.

Good luck @Sharron1 - the good news is you have had 2 results already so you know how it feels, I am sure you will be fine but fully understand - my 2nd one is mid March and it is already playing on my mind. (Especially when tempted to reach for a Christmas chocolate) 😳 !

Fingers crossed you get a result that you are happy with @Sharron1
