Good afternoon,
Some of you may have read about this in previous months, some of you may not have.
Trials4patients, a subsidiary of Richmond Pharmacology based at Croydon University Hospital in London, is currently running a research study in patients with painful diabetic neuropathy.
To date 37 volunteers with diabetic neuropathy have been included in the study, with a further 11 suitable volunteers still required to bring the study to completion.
To qualify for participation volunteers need to:
? Be aged between 18 and 75 years (inclusive) at screening
? Have a documented diagnosis of diabetes mellitus type 1 or type 2 (with a confirmed medical history available from their GP)
? Have presence of diabetes-related pain in the lower limbs of the body for a period of 6 months or more
Apart from helping medical research, volunteers will be compensated up to ?460 for their time.
