Hi all
I keep seeing the vivicap advertised to help keep insulin in the right temperature range when on holiday. Has anyone used it? It looks a bit simpler than using the frio wallets.

Interesting. I had not seen these.
I have been successfully using Frio for decades (the same wallets) but am aware they only keep the insulin cool and are no use when it comes to protecting insulin from cold temperatures.
Vivacap look interesting but more bulky and a lot more expensive than Frio.

It's something that Facebook has been promoting to me, too. As far as I can make out it's basically insulation. For one pen. So typically you'd want Frio or something for your cartridges or other pens anyway.

I'll just stick with Frio when necessary, I think. I like the easy to understand mechanism of evaporative cooling with the steampunk phase changing crystals.
