Victoza update

Saw the DSN yesterday after being put on Victoza on 15th April. BS much much better so going to go 3 months and see if still okay - rather than introduce insulin now.

The other great news is I have lost 1 st 2lbs since last appointment!

I have no more headaches, no dizziness, no thirst and no unstoppable hunger!

It was worth the fight!

I'm really pleased for you. My friend lost lots of weight, about 3 stones, on Victoza, though I must say she did not eat healthily to do so! She lived mainly on lots of fruit and chocolate, with the odd small meal chucked in. I tried Victoza for a few months but, me being an odd bod, it had the opposite effect and I madly craved carbs, eating sandwiches, cakes and biscuits 'til they came out of my ears yet feeling sick at the sight of meat and veg (yes I must be weird). I also felt very lethargic and couldn't even walk my dogs. Within a couple of days of coming off Victoza I felt fine, although it took several months before I could face a proper meal again. Wish it had worked for me......
