Victoza & Insulin

Hi, I was previously on Insulin, but have been on Victoza since Feb 2014. I now believe that I have to take Victoza with Insulin. Has anyone else had to do this? If so, had did you find it?
Your thoughts would be appreciated

I was on Victoza and Levemir but have come off the insulin which has been replaced with Metformin!. I was injecting too much insulin (60 units twice a day).

The Victoza is secondary for me as I'm LADA, but do have insulin resistance issues. In combination with my insulin it works pretty well for me and I'm down to around 30 units a day at the moment. Less if I'm having a hypo day. It doesn't work for everyone, but seems to do the trick for me.
