My mum has never controlled her diabetes well as she has depression. She's had hypos a few times and hypers too. I tried to get her to take her insulin but mostly to no avail. She'd occasionally take it. She ended up in hospital two weeks ago and they got her BG levels under control and she looked a lot happier and perkier although she's now told me she's taken a turn for the worse and she sounded awful on the phone. She's been having a few hypos after using the toilet subsequent to eating and the doctors and nurses are going to run some checks to determine what could be going on and in the meantime they have stopped the hypos with glucose tablets. I'm really scared for her. Can anyone possibly put my mind at ease a bit?
