Hi Laura,

It does sound like a blockage of your duct or something similar - I hope you manage to get a gp appointment, they should be able to give you something to help. Let us know how you get on.

I know it's very tempting but stay away from google - it will just do your head in and make you worry more.

A problem common amongst medical students is that, as they learn, they start to think that they are suffering from all sorts of rare diseases.

Common causes are common reasons for common conditions. My wife had a bad eye, very swollen, painful and weeping for a few days. She had fallen asleep with the corner of a new pillow cover poking her in the eye. Draughts too can cause havoc.

Hi Laura Sounds like you are having a rough time kid, best advice i can give is to go to the doctor and get checked out, Your young one needs you. Take care x

I went to the doctor today and it is as predicted. Blocked tear duct with a slight infection. I have drops to use now and my doctor told me not to worry :D

Ah, that's good news Laura, really pleased to hear it! 🙂 Hope you recover quickly!

Glad it was nothing to worry about and glad you now have something to help. It's always frightening when something new happens and I think we all tend to link it to the D.
