Last Friday night I was running an Aid Station for a 100 mile Ultra Marathon (the Kodiac 100)....

Long night with plenty of opportunity for conversations with my team (I had never met any of them before but they from a local running club; as then night wore on the conversation turned to (of all things) MCT oils!!! It dawned on me that they all used a ketogenic diet for performance, to which I mentioned that a ketogenic diet was very successful in controlling my T2.

I know several people on Ketogenic diets, (including several local Endurance Athletes) but have never been with more than a couple at a time.

Anyway, courtesy of the Diet Doctor, this is an interview with Peter Attia, a Medical Doctor & Endurance Athlete.

Martin - I found this to be a fabulously informative and inspirationally frank read
